Alicante Albufereta Beach
On the way towards the long beach of San Juan, you can find a small Alicante beach of Albufereta in the northern part of Alicante Spain coast. You can reach it by buses number 21 and 22 or by your car following Villa Joyosa Avenue and Condomina Avenue.
It is a bit hidden and surrounded by residential buildings. For that reason, this Alicante beach is always more quiet, but during the summer season offers all necessary services like lifeguards, Red Cross post, watchtower, toilets and parking facilities.
It is also interesting to note that Albufereta beach previously served as the harbor of the Roman place Lucentum. In the western end of the beach you can see the remains of the ancient docks.
