Cómo funciona la caja de seguridad? – How does the safe work?
Hay cartas para mí? – Is there any mail for me?
La llave de la habitación cincuenta y tres, por favor. – The key to room 53, please.
Puede servirme el desayuno en mi habitación? – I would like to have a breakfast in my room.
Quiero utilizar el servicio de lavandería. – I would like to have some laundry done.
Puede despertarme por la mañana, a las 7? – Could you wake me up in the morning, at 7 o’clock?
No hay agua caliente. – There is no hot water.
No hay papel higiénico. – There is no toilet paper.
El enchufe no funciona. – The plug-in does not work.
La cama está rota. – The bed is broken.
No podemos dormir por el ruido. – It is too noisy to sleep.
La calefacción no funciona. – The heating does not work.
No han limpiado mi habitación. – My room hasn’t been cleaned.
Podría cambiarme a otra habitación? – Could I change the room?
Accommodation in Spain – what you may hear:
No se preocupe, le llamaré a las 7 de la mañana. – Do not worry. We will call you at 7 in the morning.
Disculpe, no disponemos de otra habitación libre. – I am sorry, but there are no other rooms available.
Cambiaremos las toallas ahora mismo. – We will change the towels right away.
Vamos a arreglarlo enseguida. – We will fix it immediately.
